The week that was

By any standards, the last week has been eventful.

All began with an extended journey on what was a pathetic excuse of a national airline that is Air India. The winds of change in the Indian aviation industry seemed to have conveniently missed them.

Redemption was round the corner. Italy met their day with destiny and I was vindicated, my battered reputation restored. And no my support for Italy does not carry any political baggage. Its more to do with sporting prima donnas, pizza and pasta.

This followed by my parents' 25th wedding anniversary. Ahh time does fly indeed. Heres to another 25.

Now for the lows. Seeing a dear member of the family with one arm in a cast is never pleasing. But then lookiing at the positives, the other arm is fine, except for its the left arm.

My sympathies to all the victims of the multiple atrocities being commited in Srinagar, Mumbai and Lebanon. This week has revealed a level of hypocrisy in the international political circles I thought was unfathomable. More on that in another post.

The week threatens to end the way it began. The nightmare that is a flight on Air India. Something that I am confident will live up to my expectations. The journey back on our very own national carrier. And I thought Alitalia was a disgrace for Italy's national airline.

But being the optimist that I am, more coursework and a dissertation awaits!!!
